I’m a travel writer from Vancouver who loves helping others find amazing places to explore around the world. I’ve sung opera onstage in Canada, swam with sharks in Africa, danced by a campfire in Wadi Rum and crafted lattes 35,000 ft in the air. I’m currently based in beautiful Fiji.   [MORE]

There’s nothing like a tropical sunset 🌅 145 11
Last week we finally made it out to the Sigatoka sand dunes, and they were even cooler than I expected. The 2-hour walking trail took us through forest, over rolling grasslands, across windy dunes and along the beautiful coastline of the Coral Coast. I highly recommend it to anyone spending a day on #Fiji’s main island! 146 4
Who else loves unique hostels? This cozy mansion in Newcastle, Australia is one of my all-time favourites. So cozy! 90 5
Newcastle has loads of history, and I highly recommend visiting the Fort Scratchley historic site, as well as the smaller Shepherds Hill Fort, which is also located in a place of cultural significance to the native Awakbal people. 111 2
The ANZAC Memorial Walkway in #Newcastle is one of my favourite walks in Australia. It has some really beautiful views of the coastline and city, and pays a lovely tribute to those who fought in the Great War ❤️ 141 6
Coffs Harbour is another destination that surprised me. I started the morning with a coffee on the lovely patio at Yknot Bistro, then walked to the WWII bunker near the break wall, and back along the beach. It was so, so, so beautiful! ❤️ 119 6
I put off going to #Brisbane for so long because people kept saying it was boring. So I was surprised at how much I loved it when I finally stopped to check it out. There’s tons to do, and so many amazing viewing spots, like the free CityHopper ferry! 126 9
Noosa is officially one of my favourite places in #Australia. The coastal walk through the National Park is one of the prettiest walks I’ve ever done. Finish it with a refreshing swim in the ocean and a cold beer on the deck of the Surf Club and you’ve got the perfect day! 👌☀️🏄‍♀️ 119 4
I’m very much a city person, but I can’t deny that there’s something magical about a sunrise in the country. One of the many amazing views that I’ve had with @greyhoundaustralia during this trip! ☀️💕 99 2
